Smooth, dark, and slightly psychedelic, this track has California written all over it. Makes me think of driving on a Sunday night listening to Art Leboe’s “Killer Oldies” show. Or even better yet a scene from Tarantino’s “Jackie Brown”. Thanks to Gilles Peterson and all the crate diggers out there that make sure gems like this don’t stay hidden.
