P.S. it’s Laura
By Lizelle Jackson | January 24, 2008
Ok…so I know everyone has found themselves at some point watching a movie that they know they should never watch. You know, those horribly cheesy romantic comedies in which the only affect they seem to have on you is to make you blubber like a little child? Not that I speak from experience or anything like that.
Such the case was today. Since I am currently residing in a tiny village in Switzerland, I often find myself with nothing to do except watch movies. Seeing how this has now become an everyday occurence, my film choices are dwindling. This is how I ended up watching “P.S. I Love You”. Yes, I know, you need not say anything.
Some good did come of this mistake however. I recognized one of the songs in the movie to by an Irish singer named Laura Izibor, whom I had first heard of about a year ago. It seems she has been quite busy lately with several of her songs being placed in other films such as “The Nanny Diaries”, “Why Did I Get Married”, and even earning a spot on “Grey’s Anatomy”, which in the music world has become the ultimate launching pad for upcoming artists. Check her out…
