New music from Kissey Asplund
Thursday, July 23rd, 2009In honor of her birthday, Ms, Kissey Asplund has generously offered up a couple of simple tracks she did when she was 19. Turns out they are the last songs she did before deciding she wanted to be a full-time painter instead of a musician. Good thing she finally decided to get back to music.
Mocky - Birds of a Feather
Wednesday, July 1st, 2009So this track is a little more jazzy than what you usually that you find here, but I’m totally in love with it. So [...]

Unlike Monae however, Bosco brings to the table a much more jazzy and soulful electro sound. Picture her a lounge singer at her piano on [...]

Serengeti
Thursday, February 21st, 2008Today I have some words of warning…never leave chap stick on the stove, no good can come of it. Somehow you will manage to accidentally turn on the stove, go to sleep, and then wake to a smoke filled room, and partially high from inhaling the toxic fumes of plastic.
Needless to say once the [...]
