Jakokoyak

So today I have a HUGE smile on my face because my site was posted on Cupcakes Take the Cake for the “Dancing Cupcakes” post a couple days ago. As a cupcake enthusiast it is by far my favorite website, and even if you don’t share my joy of cupcakes, you should at least check out the site for all their wonderful pictures.
Ironically, today I have another Welsh artist to post about.
“Imagine Lalo Schifrin writing a Super Furry Animals musical, with Simple Kid doing the words with Beck, while Serge Gainsbourg’s lighting a fag, and you’re still only halfway to unraveling the threads of this particular genius.”
This is what is used to describe Jakokoyak on his website, and boy are those some big shoes to fill. There is not really much I can say after a comparison like that, except that I am enjoying his laid back tunes, that have an interesting twist when plugged with his native Welsh tongue.
