The Dø do France
By Lizelle Jackson | February 18, 2008

Currently getting serious play on my iPod right now is a group called The Dø, hailing from both Paris and Helsinki, they have been getting some pretty good airtime here in Switzerland and in France. Oh, and it is pronounced “d-o-h” as in the first and last note on the musical scale, or for those fellow Simpson’s fans, as our old pal Homer would say. “At Last” and is a folksy rock song evocative of early Sheryl Crow, complete with harmonicas and all. However “The Bridge is Broken” still remains on of my favorites, although the singing can be a bit whiney at times. Their album “A Mouthful” is out now.
