JapanPopShow
By Lizelle Jackson | December 17, 2008
My first contact with Curumin was on a mixtape a friend of mine had made back in 2005. Then again after hearing “Guerreiro” on a Nike commercial for the 2006 World Cup, I decided to the give Achados e Perdidos a shot. It was a good album, but if your not down to listening to songs in another language (Portuguese) it might not be for you. Always serving up an array of different sounds, his second effort, JapanPopShow, stands to be no different from the first in the sense that he seems to want to wrap up every genre of music into one nice little package. Fine by me…I like a little variety in my life! Head on over to RCRD LBL to pick up a free copy of the very danceable “Caixa Preta”.
