Kid Cudi
By Lizelle Jackson | April 22, 2008
I don’t know about you, but a lot of times I find myself passing over songs the first time I hear them, maybe I’m in a rush, or looking for something in particular, but it has been happening a lot lately. Luckily for me, I usually end up hearing the song someplace and I find that I do like the song. Such was the case a couple weeks ago at a Dante Fried Chicken party over at Galapagos Art Space, when I heard DJ Scottie B spinning Kid Cudi’s “Day N’ Night. I recognized immediately that i heard the song before but just couldn’t remember who it was, needless to say I figured it out…and glad I did.

Heyy, I appreciate the love Lizelle, it makes me happy 2 see someone actually took the time out 2 write about lil ol me and I think its awesome wut ur doin…this made my nite, until I noticed dat one of the versions of my song wasn’t my own….dat Old money edit isn’t suttin dat me, A Trak, Plain Pat, or anyone at Fools Gold approved or have knowledge of….I know it can b confusin especially this early in my career to determine wut remixes r official or not but if u don’t hear about it on kidcudi.com, the Fools Gold Blog, or my myspace (www.myspace.com/kidcudi) then its not suttin I’m involved with….the ONLY 2 remixes out rite now are the Jokers of the Scene and the Crookers remix…there is no rap remix of day n nite at this moment in time….so for all the people who read miss jackson’s blog keep readin, she has not lead u wrong, BUT please pass this note along and do not post any unofficial K.i.D CuDi remixes unless Cudder and the good folks at ur new favorite record label FOOLS GOLD have released it
No disrespect to the guys who did there version of the song, I appreciate dat too but I must distinguish wut I had suttin 2 do wit creatively and musically from wut I did not…
Thanx Lizelle for the post, blog looks good….keep it upp
