Chester French to headline free show for Puma’s 60th Birthday in Brooklyn
By Lizelle Jackson | December 1, 2008
Although I wasn’t too excited about the Steve Aoki, El-P and The Neptunes, Chester French remixes that were recently released, I still do hold a soft spot of these Harvard boys, and am eagerly awaiting their full length debut album….whenever that may be.
In the meantime I have their single for “She Loves Everybody” that I picked up at one of their shows this summer, although I still haven’t opened….the packaging is just too much fun (image via Johnny Cupcakes). Stone, I think this might be up there with Brittany Bosco’s EP, for best packaging for the year ;). So if your in the mood for a high energy show, which they will definitely provide, check them tonight headlining the Puma’s 60th Birthday at the Music Hall of Williamsburg along with, The Knux, Charles Hamilton, and DJ Jus Ske. There is just one hitch…..you gotta go to one of the three Puma stores listed below to pick up a ticket. Enjoy!

Oh, and I got a special treat….check out a track from Common’s upcoming album Universal Mind Control, featuring Chester French. It’s funky, but I’m still undecided on it, Common isn’t coming on very strong. What do you think?
