It has been quite sometime coming, but it appears that Leon Jean-Marie will finally have an album out sometime this year. He has already opened for acts such notable acts like Amy Winehouse, Mika, and The Roots, and even worked with producer Mark Ronson.
If you’re a fan of Prince I would give this Brit a listen, because he is definetly funky. With throbbing baselines, heavy drum claps, and sultry soul vocals, you can’t go wrong. His first single in over a year, “Bed of Nails” is due out April 7th (I’m assuming that is the UK release date). In the meantime however check out his previously released single here.
