This past weekend one of my friends to me to see an electro concert here in Neuchatel. I wasn’t quite sure what I was expecting….I mean I know that there are pretty good electro concerts in the bigger cities like Zurich and Geneva, but didn’t know what I would get in the smaller cities. In reality, I had no idea what I was getting into because this electro-pop-dance stuff is pretty new to me. I really only get exposed to it when I am living here in Europe, but that is not to say that it isn’t starting to grown on me. I’m a fan of singer Yelle, (although I just recently learned what she is talking about in “Je veux te voir”, and that means it is no longer appropriate for me to sing that song while walking down the street), Mondotek gets me dancing, and I love the Kitsune Compilations. With that being said I had a pretty good time when French headliner We Are Terrorists came on stage. Really when you think about it, it is very hard not get hooked on a type of music who’s sole intention is to make you dance.
