CMJ Music Marathon

Rainy days always make me miss Brooklyn, but it’s just cruel when they happen to coincide with the CMJ Music Marathon. I already missed what I’m sure was an amazing concert compromised of Lykke Li, Friendly Fires, and Micachu (Andrew, I hope you were there!). Once again tomorrow, I will be missing Chester French and Jonelle Monae at the Bowery Ballroom. I did discover however that Vibes and Stuff’s October mix is perfect for rainy days (and full of great songs and artists that are totally new to me), so I’m sure it will be in heavy rotation considering it has been raining for what I feel like has been forever. Oh well, maybe there is a slim chance I can coerce some of my friends to go so I can live vicariously through them.
