If you’re a fan of M.I.A. check out Santogold. Already making waves across the pond in London, you can count Santogold as one of the most innovative artists coming out of New York right now. This Philly girl turned Brooklynite who blends her punk band roots with new wave, reggae and just about everything else under the sun, has already been featured as one of Rolling Stone’s breaking artists as well as the BBC’s Top 10 artists to watch for 2008.
