Brittany Bosco’s “It Was You”
By Lizelle Jackson | December 8, 2008
So my new roomie listens endlessly to sappy R&B love songs, and asked me if maybe I had some that she might like. You know those songs, the ones that seem to serve no other purpose than to deepen the misery of those folks that are fresh out of relationships and plunge them further into the depths of self-pity. Yeah, unfortunately I’ve got a library full of those…I was in high school once. None the less, after what seemed like hours of excruciating pain, I struck gold on about the third song with Brittany Bosco’s “It Was You”. How I skipped over this song before, considering I got the album only about a month ago is beyond me.
It’s those harmonies that hooked me…
