Mocky – Birds of a Feather

By Lizelle Jackson | July 1, 2009

So this track is a little more jazzy than what you usually that you find here, but I’m totally in love with it. One of my fabulous picks that I grabbed over at Amoeba, along with Passion Pit (fav album right now) and Matt and Kim. A native of Canada, Mocky boasts producer credits for the likes of Jaime Lidell as well as Feist (both of which are featured on his new album), so I’m sure you have heard his influence before. Dude has crazy talent, he plays drums, bass, rhodes, piano, guitar, percussion, bells, recorder, vocals, whistle, organ and toys and writes string arrangements. Be sure to check out his new album, Saskamodie.
