I’m pretty familiar with Lorette Fleur, but this Dwilt Sharpp fella is totally new to me. A newbie to Paris’ Favorite Recordings (Onra, Mr. Day), you can be sure that Sharpp will be supplying plenty more of these funky and soulful tracks in the future.
So this track is a little more jazzy than what you usually that you find here, but I’m totally in love with it. One of my fabulous picks that I grabbed over at Amoeba, along with Passion Pit (fav album right now) and Matt and Kim. A native of Canada, Mocky boasts producer credits for the likes of Jaime Lidell as well as Feist, so I’m sure you have heard his influence before.

There are alot of great releases coming in April, but one I’m really looking forward to is Muhsinah’s Oscillations: Triangle. She has been in heavy rotation on my iPod lately, especially with the Daru remixed “Once Again”.
