Although I was fairly disappointed with their full-length (a little too slow and repetitive) I am still totally in love with this song. I stumbled across this fan video and thought it was pretty well done. Retro, colorful and sunny….just like the song.
I don’t even know what to say about this video except WOW. The song is exceptional and the video is, to say the least, visually stunning. Maybe too many boobies for me and I feel a tad bit dirty when watching it, but besides that I love the chaos and the aesthetic of the whole thing. What do you think?
Good old-fashioned soul. Can’t ask for anything more.
Just in case you haven’t already check out Andreya Triana‘s “Lost Where I Belong” sampler…do so. Make sure you keep those eyes peeled for her much awaited debut release by the same title due out August 23rd. I’ve been waiting for years so you know I’m stoked.
Was anyone else as impressed with the Watchmen trailer as I was? My second viewing (yeah, I’m that loser that saw The Dark Knight twice) pretty much solidified it for me. Undoubtedly, the trailer would not have had the same dramatic affect without the awesome remixed version of the Smashing Pumpkins‘ “The End is the Beginning is the End”, which was ironically written for Batman & Robin. Unlike it’s predecessor, the remixed version which is titled, “The Beginning is the End is the Beginning” drops the pop act, and brings to the surface a much darker and thought provocative feeling. Not only does the song work wonders for the Watchmen trailer, but for me, having the song precede the Dark Knight was like a parallel between the Batman films of yore, and the new and improved Batman of today.
